I was beginning to despair of finding something large enough and sturdy enough for all of my AV components (without paying an arm and a leg). I gave this a shot because of the price and lack of complete ugliness. Surprisingly, it turned out to be nicer looking than I expected from the photos. Not only that, it's rugged and spacious. The only complaint I could have is that the cable holes are a bit small for serious setups. That being said, you don't need to use em - it's completely open and if you tie your cables up nicely it shouldn't look too cluttered.

I was impressed by the weight of the shelves, they would hold much more than the DVR, Playstation 3, and Bose 28 system, that I have on them.
It was extremely easy to put together, took about 15 minutes while I was watching TV. The unit is really stable and I had room with the pre-cut holes for all the cables and wires to fit easily.
The one problem was my own fault. The unit is pretty tall and just fit under my wall mounted LG TV. It was so close I couldn't put my DVR on the top shelf, had to put the bose system there...not a big deal.
Also, unit is a little deeper than I need, but other people with large components may find this a plus.
Overall, really pleased, should last forever.
