I wanted to buy a slatted box spring for my memory foam mattress, after reading the other reviews online, I decided to roll the dice and try this one and I am glad that I did. Shipping was quick - I received the product within 5 days. The product is easy to carry to your room of choice as it is modular. Assembly was a breeze. There is also a good quality wrench provided with the tools. The foundation is made of pine, you need to be careful of the splinters while assembly - this might be a negative for some, but that is now most non metal slatted foundations look if you peeked under the cover. The cover fits well post assembly and gives the setup a respectable look. The only complaint i could have if I have to picky is there are not enough "wood screws" included to nail down the slatted top. The manufacturer includes 6. I ended up using 24 to ensure a secure feel - got some more 1 inch screws from the local home depot.

We've been looking for a solution for over a year now. After cutting our slat system in half to move it up our narrow staircase, our bed never felt the same. Construction not as pictured. Single bolt corners where shown as double. Center support shown as fitted insert, in reality single bolt and doweled- bolt and doweled holes missing on one end. Sap oozing from materials. Should be handled with glove to avoid slivers. Cover not as pictured either.
