Hmmmmm, when this keyboard works, it's fantastic. Everybody in the house, (daughter, wife, and me), really like the action of the keys, (more to follow). I like the slim form factor, its heft, appearance, and the solid alluminum top has a certain cool factor, (for engineering types?). Somebody else wrote somewhere that this keyboard doesn't move and they were right...the weight and rubber feet keep it solidly in place.
Turns out I had to return the first board due to broken rear height adjusting foot. The rotator pin on the foot came out of its socket and threatened to continue falling out everytime the keyboard was lifted off the desk. Bought the board through Amazon Prime and returned it asap, postage paid. Requested a replacement keyboard and it arrived two days after I completed the online return form.
There is one other issue that I might not have discovered had I not had a second keyboard for comparison. I read in another review, that one user was having trouble with the space bar. It had to be depressed within an inch either side of center in order for it to work, and feel like it worked, (tactile click). This was the case with my first keyboard as well. Since out thumbs seemed to hit the mark within this range I didn't find this to be a problem for us. The action was a little stiff compared to the other keys but, oh well.....
The action of all the keys on the second keyboard was flawless. All keys depressed evenly, and identically. The space bar could be depressed across its entire length with tactile feedback. So, there are differences from keyboard to keyboard! But if you buy it through Amazon, send it back...I figure the manufacturer needs to know and will get the message eventually.

i'm a telecom programmer, i use keyboards on a daily basis at home and at work. i have two aurora premium keyboards at work and one aurora premium and one aurora micro keyboards at home...like i said i've used them on a daily basis for over a year and never had any problems with them at all...
the keyboard edges are not sharp and won't snag you precious clothing nor gash that pasty fragile skin (sarchasm)...
key action is low and better than many of the laptops i've used over the years...yes the keys are plastic and not alumium but that does not take away from their solid functionality.
overall, the unit is solidly built. the alumium top is nicely finished and wont slide around on your desktop like many other cheap keyboards out there.
if i'm in need of a keyboard, i will buy the enermax aurora premium or micro any time.

I write for a living and therefore I'm a bit fussy about the keyboard I use. I've used cheap keyboards that feel okay initially, but lose their touch after a few months. I've tried several mid-priced keyboards that last longer, but wear out after a year of heavy use. After doing a great deal of writing on a laptop keyboard, I came to prefer the touch of scissor-type keys used by the Enermax Aurora.
I don't want or need a keyboard with a lot of gimmicks such as lighting or special keys or controls. I need a basic keyboard that holds up under heavy use, that's comfortable, durable and doesn't make me think about it when I'm writing. That's what the Enermax Aurora Premium does.
I had my eye on this keyboard for several months, but couldn't bring myself to pay more than $70 for it. Fortunately, I happened to spot a great rebate offer through the manufacturer and got it for half that price.
The pros: There's nothing fancy about the Enermax Aurora. It's a very clean, functional design. It's heft and laser-cut edging give it a look and feel of quality. It has the touch of a laptop keyboard with the spacing of a conventional PC keyboard. It doesn't move around when I'm typing and has three different adjustment levels. The two USB ports on the back aren't exactly conveniently located, but I do use them.
The cons: If I get years of use out of this keyboard, I might be willing to say that it's worth $70 or more. Right now, I just don't know. I wish it had a full-sized backspace key, although the small one doesn't really bother me. The built-in USB sound seems somewhat of a wasted feature. I can't think of any circumstances under which I'd use it. I disabled it using the instructions provided in the box.
Overall, the Enermax Aurora Premium keyboard is a solid product for those who want a comfortable, enjoyable typing experience without a lot of bells, whistles and gimmicks.
