We needed a storage bench to store our cat and dog food, and it had to be a certain size and style for our small cottage in Hawaii. This bench was perfect in every way except one. It was a damaged re-boxed item!Linon Storage Bench Short Split Seat Storage The instructions were missing and it had been re-taped shut. The carton was handwritten with a marker #216 of #560 and the left side upper armrest had a split in the wood where it's attached to the backrest. Rather than hassle with packing it up and shipping it back, I went ahead and took several pictures before I assembled it. We've kept the bench and it works great for what we need it for. I sent Amazon an email with the pictures of the damage requesting a replacement piece. That was 3 days ago, we'll see what happens.

We hunt. We fish. We golf. And we use our mudroom everyday.
This was perfect for our mudroom entrance -- a place to sit and take off the boots before entering the main living area. Storage is ample -- we store folded rain gear (dry) and multiple pairs of leather leggings (chaps)with room to spare.
Easy to assemble. Do use directions as a guide -- sequence of order in assembly is relevant.
Looks good.
Highly recommend.
