After reading mixed reviews I reluctantly bought this bed for my little princess. A lot of others had problems with the shipping company but my delivery went smoothly. I love the bed. It was easy to assemble and is quite beautiful. The only drawback is that I could see it being a bit dangerous for any kid who might jump around on their bed as the "crown" at the headboard sticks out and could be hazardous. My daughter has also bumped her head on the metal sides.

what a beautiful bed! the detail is amazing, not only is it all princess-y in style, but it is faux antiqued with a sparkley pink finish. daughter loves it. i was afraid that i would be too big for it to support my weight (about 200lbs), but i have spent several naps comfortably in this bed. i would buy this bed over and over and over again.

We received my daughter's princess carriage bed today. Overall, I am very happy with the design and quality of the product. I also love that it isn't an extremely tall canopy. But when we were unpacking the bed we found that none of the hardware necessary for construction was included with the bed. After calling Powell we now have to wait another two weeks to recieve the hardware. It's very much an inconvenience to a product we are overall happy with.
